Salient Communications was founded by Siân O’Keefe, a strategic communications leader with over 27 years’ experience - the majority of which has been as a senior corporate affairs executive with global brands. Her career also encompasses roles within the UK and European public sector, IBM, Hyder Consulting and Informa.
Siân has worked across the UK, Europe, Eurasia, and Australia, leading culturally diverse teams and serving on executive boards. She understands how businesses operate and how communications can create clarity, confidence, and change.
Her approach is collaborative, energising, and grounded in purpose. She blends board-level insight with operational pragmatism and isn’t afraid to challenge strategically when it matters. Whether supporting transformation, leadership visibility, or stakeholder engagement, Siân’s work is shaped by empathy and focused on impact.
